Hello there. We’re Zopa.
 
We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy experiences that challenge your thinking, we want to hear from you. This is a great opportunity for someone who is super organised and always thinking ahead, paired with a real passion for providing excellent office administration. This position has a little bit of everything, with general responsibilities to support our Office Manager in keeping the office running smoothly.

This is a full time office based 4-month contract.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday - 08:30-17:00 or 09:00-17:30.

<li>Complete the morning set up – clean coffee machines, fill up snack station, breakfast items, and drinks fridges</li><li>Reception cover </li><li>Ordering coffee, breakfast, snacks, and drink stock for the next week</li><li>Request, create and distribute new starter security passes</li><li>Assist with actioning leavers – check Jira list and emails, close tickets on Jira and de-activate passes on employee’s last day</li><li>Assist with facilities – logging tickets for faults and notifying the engineers. Also, chasing engineering teams if a ticket isn’t actioned in a reasonable timeframe</li><li>Book in all external guests with the building security team</li><li>Open and distribute incoming post and prepare outgoing mail. Ensure any post not given to a team (if they work from home) is scanned to them </li><li>Assist with any fire evacuation or first aid emergencies</li><li>Ordering stationary, branded lanyards, branded notepads, and branded envelopes</li>

<li>You’ll have previous experience in a reception or office coordinator role</li><li>Previous experience in a fast-paced environment and proven success in multi-tasking</li><li>Facilities experience would be advantageous</li><li>You’ll be confident building relationships across the business. As a Fraud Agent, you will be part of the Fraud team to assist with the detection and prevention of fraud at Zopa.

Your working week will be Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:30, and you will be required to work one weekend a month.

This is a hybrid role - the team come to our London Bridge office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

At Zopa we work together to provide high quality support to our customers within the financial industry, based on responsible lending of which the role of the Auto Partner Success Manager is a vital function. The aim of this role is to work in conjunction with the Head of Sales and the wider team to develop and maintain close working relationships with Zopa’s portfolio of dealer and broker partners.  

 This exciting new role in the team will help drive the continued growth by owning the overall end to end running of the accounts helping to reach and exceed targets. The role will be able to build strong partnerships through the tenure of relationships as well a focus on delivery.

<li>You'll report into the Senior Risk Manager and work closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure the business operates within risk appetite, through the application of commensurate mitigating controls.&nbsp;</li><li>Are proficient in the regulatory space in which the business operates and able to effectively communicate requirements to key stakeholders.</li><li>Provide expert and practical regulatory guidance and support in relation to businesses products, policies and processes. </li><li>Act as the compliance subject matter expert on business projects and represent compliance at relevant business committees &amp; forums.</li><li>Provide support and guidance to business areas when resolving identified compliance issues and lead in the design and execution of any associated customer remediation.&nbsp; </li><li>Lead in defining solutions in response to risks which are i) smart and proportionate, ii) sustainable and iii) considered (i.e. not just plugging a gap but taking a holistic view of the issue at hand and considering what is needed to uplift the risk environment)&nbsp;</li><li>Drive education and awareness of compliance, conduct and regulatory risk management practices across the business.</li>

<li>You'll be an experienced compliance professional with a strong understanding of the consumer credit space. Proficiency in CONC, SYSC and DISP is essential. </li><li>Proven track record of experience in compliance, conduct and regulatory risk within the financial services sector and able to demonstrate technical expertise on regulatory requirements.</li><li>Experienced in leading the design and execution of compliance led reviews.</li><li>Able to lead stakeholders to identify areas of risk, support in the delivery of change across the business and look for ways to improve our existing practices. &nbsp;</li><li>Be technical, outcome orientated, and be able to apply the risk framework to propose optimal outcomes for customers and the business. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>A strong communicator who can articulate issues clearly, flagging trade-offs and solutions in order to gain buy-in to your proposals.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a source of knowledge and point of contact for business colleagues in your area such as second line risk and first line counterparts.&nbsp;</li><li>Guide first line teams in completing comprehensive risk assessments and promoting a risk-aware culture across the business. &nbsp;</li>

As a Financial Crime Officer, you will be part of the Financial Crime team and will work with the Senior Financial Crime Manager to assist with the detection and prevention of fraud at Zopa. You will also work closely with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance teams.
 
The working pattern will be Monday – Friday - 09:00-17:30, however you will need to be flexible with working one Saturday every other month.
 
This is a hybrid role – the team work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Drive business decisions to achieve the company’s financial goals through the provision of financial business partnering.</li><li>Cost management – set cost targets and budgets monitoring working with senior stakeholders to achieve targets and escalate exceptions appropriately.</li><li>Financial strategy – supports long term strategy from a financial perspective and develop materials for fundraising or other strategic decisions</li><li>Audit and compliance – manage the annual audit process as well as initiating, developing and enhancing financial / operational controls consistent with operating in a regulated entity. </li><li>Evaluate and implement new systems and tools for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting including portfolio level models, and drive the movement of the team beyond Excel modelling and forecasting.</li><li>Improve the efficiency &amp; effectiveness of the finance team through a continuous improvement in processes</li><li>Provide finance team with excellent leadership/training/performance management and lead the function as it continues to develop into a highly performing and highly integrated team</li><li>Tightly work with the Group finance function, ensuring understanding of and adherence to: accounting policies, controls regime, financial systems and reporting cycle.</li><li>Manage the production of VAT and Corporation Tax returns for the company as well as the annual audited financial statements.&nbsp;</li>

<li>You’ll be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or have extensive experience in this field</li><li>Have demonstratable experience of leading finance teams in areas of FP&amp;A, management reporting and statutory compliance.</li><li>You have excellent analytical skills, highly numerate, able to engage in complex financial assessments, present complex financial ideas and models</li><li>Strong financial modelling skills, including Excel, SQL, VBA,</li><li>Extensive prior experience of managing interactions with senior Executives and functional leaders </li><li>Ideally, you'll have significant experience working in a bank and/or regulated consumer lending led business</li><li>You'll be a team player with good collaboration – able to work closely with other finance and business areas, product and technology teams in a flexible way</li><li>Able to operate at big picture strategic level but willing and able to engage in detail in a hands on way, including developing the team and others around the business</li><li>A clear communicator with the ability to influence with excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>You have excellent analytical and intellectual skills –able to engage with complex ideas and initiatives and to come up with clear recommendations and course of actions.</li>

Specifically, you’ll be working on the agent desktop, which is how agents see customer details, manage back office processes and ensure that we deliver a high level of service.

<li>Spending time with managers, team leads and agents across the operations teams to learn how they are using the platform and what changes we could make to benefit both them and our customers. &nbsp;</li><li>Working with product managers across the rest of Zopa when we are launching new products/features to make sure that we can assist them operationally. &nbsp;</li><li>You'll grasp the detailed user and technical requirements of requests that come into the team so that we can build the right solution. &nbsp;</li><li>Assessing the value of initiatives to help us plan and prioritise the right work. Contributing to this planning process. &nbsp;</li><li>Designing interfaces and thinking about the right UX to make our solutions clear and easy to use and reducing the risk of human error in our processes. &nbsp;</li><li>Working with the development and QA teams to design the right solutions that consider effort, impact, risk, and user/customer needs. &nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with the roll out of new features – working with the training, project, and ops teams. &nbsp;</li><li>Validating that what we have done is working and having the desired impact. &nbsp;</li><div><br></div>

<li>You’ve got a few years’ experience working in a product/BA role, you may have salesforce experience but this isn't essential</li><li>You can work with a wide range of stakeholders across operations, product and engineering&nbsp;</li><li>You’re happy working on internal products – you like that you can get short feedback loops and direct feedback from your users, and still have a big impact on our business success and customer experience.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>You have a feel for what good UX looks like, but you wouldn’t necessarily call yourself “a designer”. &nbsp;</li><li>You can decipher complex processes and see ways in which they can be enhanced by technology.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>You’re happy to spend time with the people using the product to get their feedback. &nbsp;</li><li>You have an output focus and make sure that what we deliver has value (and we see that value!). &nbsp;</li>
